Independent
Pre-SOP Quality Review

Structured product quality, usability, and customer-perception feedback before SOP.

Pre-SOP Review

The Value of an Independent Perspective

Internal teams understand their products better than anyone. They know the design intent, technical requirements, development history, and the decisions made throughout the program.

That knowledge is essential.

AMEC’s Independent Pre-SOP Quality Review adds a structured outside perspective during the development phase. We review how a product may be experienced by customers, media, dealers, fleet operators, or other external stakeholders before it reaches the market.

The focus is on product quality, usability, perceived quality, functional impressions, and customer experience.

This service does not replace internal validation.
It complements it with independent feedback from a team experienced in vehicle testing, validation, field support, and development environments.

Deliver the Reports

AMEC begins each Independent Pre-SOP Quality Review by defining the scope together with the customer, including the vehicle or system, review focus, location, timeline, and requested deliverables. During the review period, typically between one and three weeks, AMEC conducts structured observations based on the agreed scope. Findings are documented with clear notes, photos where applicable, severity, repeatability, and customer-impact context. At the end of the review, the customer receives a structured report and a final debrief covering key findings, positive impressions, and recommended follow-up areas.
